Rhino Adventure Tours was founded by Ngorongoro Conservation Area's (NCA) ranger DONATUS GADIYE in 1998. Donatus was encouraged to take up guiding by friends and tourists on safari who came to appreciate his confident leadership style and unbounded knowlege of East Africa. Heading their influence Donatus enrolled in two semester long wilderness courses put on by the National Outdoor Leadership School (www.nols.edu - which has its international headquarters in Lander, Wyoming, USA). NOLS helped Donatus to refine skills like rock climbing, mountaineering, backpacking, and safari driving, with a focus on "Leave No Trace" wilderness ethics and other ecotourism models. Donatus passed these courses with distinction, acquiring the necessary skills to become a superior guide.

In addition, as a ranger Donatus has passed through several departments of consevation including protection of Nothern Highland Forest Reserve within Ngorongoro (which is world heritage site and biosphere reserve) and monitoring the protection of black rhinos on the Ngorongoro crater floor. The company's name is inspired by the later.

DONATUS GADIYE
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Donatus is a Ranger and Park Wildlife Manager by profession. He has a great knowledge of the wilderness and has graduated twice with NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School that has its HQ’s at Lander Wyoming- USA)
He is partially working with Ngorongoro Conservation Area as a Warden. He speaks the language of animal behavior and ecology.

LOSERIAN LAIZER
OPERATION MANAGER

Loserian is NOLS graduate too, his inspiration on nature makes him forget his professionalism on accountancy. He has devoted most of his time with R.A.T and always happy to be in the wild than sitting in the office. His knowledge
on culture and birds is so incredible.

Alanana can tell you all about Masai culture and the surrounding tribes, he knows every single trail in Masai steppe. He also knows plant and their traditional uses.

NAIMAN MBISE
PROFESSIONAL GUIDE

Naiman is so famous for his ability to learn languages. He is our safari guide and Spanish translator. He speaks good English, Italian and Spanish languages. He has experience of
more than ten years with the parks.
